The city of Formigine is preparing to step back in time with the twenty-first edition of the Ludi di San Bartolomeo, which will be held from August 21st to 24th, 2025. This event, now a regular and eagerly awaited fixture, will transform the historic center and its charming castle into a lively medieval village.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an evocative and historically rich atmosphere, thanks to a packed program of activities for all ages. There will be historical parades with nobles, soldiers, and flag-throwers parading through the city streets. There will also be performances by jugglers, acrobats, and street artists performing with stilts and fire, enchanting both adults and children.
The heart of the festival will be markets showcasing ancient crafts, duels of arms, and the traditional "games of the districts," which will pit archers and axe throwers against each other.
